The ICA Accelerator, as you've come to know it, is evolving to bring more tactical, tailored, recurring workshops and structured advising opportunities to our community of founders.

While we are not offering a cohort-based accelerator at this time, we encourage you to check our Workshops page for updates on new learning opportunities and resources.

Partner resources & community support

Find comprehensive business support from one of our trusted community partners:

Accion Opportunity Fund: Offers a robust suite of support for small businesses, including specialized accelerator programs like the DoorDash Main Street Strong Accelerator and Brewing the American Dream (with Samuel Adams) that provide grants, advising, and workshops, all bolstered by free 1:1 business and financial coaching through various partnerships.

Alley-Oop Accelerator presented by Chase and the Warriors Community Foundation: A comprehensive, seven-week program designed to empower Bay Area small business owners. It provides tailored training, one-on-one mentorship, and a $1,000 stipend to help entrepreneurs master business essentials—from legal compliance and financial management to marketing—culminating in a showcase at pop-up market events.

Alliance for Community Development: Offers entrepreneurs free business navigation sessions for feedback and resource connections, a paid membership alliance for networking and mentorship, and a specialized one-year advising program for POC-owned small businesses in specific Oakland zip codes.

Centro Community Partners: Provides a range of services for entrepreneurs at every level, from 1-2 day bootcamps and multi-week programs for launching and growing businesses.

La Cocina: Supports food entrepreneurs through tiered programming: a 6-month Pre-Incubation program and a 2-year comprehensive incubator. This multi-year support comes with industrial kitchen access and robust sales support via La Cocina's events, food hall, and delivery services, along with shorter workshops for early-stage planning and resources for its alumni.

Pacific Community Ventures: Connects small business owners with expert advisors for flexible, virtual advising on both one-off questions and long-term challenges. Entrepreneurs can also access affordable loans up to $200,000 and are automatically enrolled in PCV’s expert advising program.

Prospera Community Development: Provides a complete pathway for Latina entrepreneurs to launch cooperative businesses, beginning with a 10-session foundational training course. Graduates of their Oakland-based program can advance to a peer-learning incubator, with high-potential participants eligible for a fellowship that includes a seed grant and intensive support.

Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center: Offers a range of programs to support entrepreneurs, from introductory workshops to multi-week courses on business strategy and planning, alongside free one-on-one business advising and ongoing events. Their Women's Resource Center provides these same programs tailored specifically for women founders.
