ABOUT
Aliyah is the Community and Alumni Network Associate at ICA. She is supporting the development of ICA’s virtual community as well as providing support for ongoing engagement of ICA Direct Services Alums. Aliyah graduated from UC Riverside in 2022 with a degree in Public Policy, then went on to complete the San Francisco Bay Area Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.

Why I work at ICA
I hope to support economic development in the Bay Area through my position at ICA. As the daughter of immigrant business owners, I have seen first hand how entrepreneurship can help create financial independence and be a source of empowerment. I have also seen how difficult the journey of entrepreneurship can be, so I am consistently inspired by the passion and dedication I find in small business owners.
