On September 2nd, ICA hosted the virtual culmination for our first Resilience Lab Accelerator cohort.
Over the course of the event, attendees heard from cohort members on two panels, many of you joined our interactive expo “booths” featuring every Resilience Lab Accelerator company, and participated in a speed networking session, connecting with each other and cohort members.
If you did not get a chance to join us, you can can check out recordings of the panels and review the expo booths from the virtual event, below.
The Resilience Lab Accelerator, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, was specifically created to catalyze the growth of companies serving their communities. It was designed to strengthen the long-term resilience of these businesses as they provide the goods and services that our communities need most. 24 entrepreneurs were selected to participate in six weeks of intensive business education with the goal of building more resilient businesses. In addition to the weekly virtual sessions, participants also had the option to get additional support through weekly office hours and peer circles.
The culmination was an opportunity for the 24 companies to showcase their businesses and make connections with potential capital providers, partners, and customers. It was also a chance for six companies to share their experience through by participating in two panel discussions, “Becoming a More Resilient Leader” and “COVID-19 Impacts & Implications for Small Businesses”.
