We are proud to be a worker-owned cooperative.
During California's drought conditions of 2005, a group of builders and ecologists founded DIG Cooperative Inc. and built the first permitted residential constructed wetland for greywater treatment in California. The greywater wetland is located at the Berkeley Ecology Center's EcoHouse. We continue to pioneer permitted greywater reuse and rainwater catchment systems across the greater Bay Area. Our work is driven by a commitment to protect and conserve freshwater and creating a water secure future for generations to come.
Our team is committed to regenerative ecology, quality craftsmanship and creative collaboration. We work with clients to integrate the natural forces of water into their homes and landscapes to create drought resilient, productive habitats. Our mission is to assist people in water stewardship principles using practical solutions.
Dig Co-op Inc. is a design/build, general contracting firm that specializes in green building and on-site water catchment/reuse systems for residential, commercial and institutional clients
