How It Works

The Lab at ICA gives you the tools you need to chart a roadmap towards increased profitability and growth. Our 12-week accelerator program is designed to help you strengthen your existing business model, stabilize operations, establish a path for growth, and get ready to take on capital.

Criteria

Who Should Apply

If you’re ready to take your business to the next level—as an entrepreneur and as an employer—we want to help.

High-potential, early-stage businesses

Currently generating revenue

In operation for a minimum of one year

Focused on strategic growth and fundraising in the next 12 to 18 months

Ready and able to fully participate

Time

Approximately 5 hours/week over the
course of 12 weeks

Program format includes group workshops, peer-to-peer support, and office hours

We accept two cohorts a year—one in the spring and one in the fall

Funding Opportunity

All companies that complete the Lab at ICA are eligible to apply for up to $50,000 in seed capital from ICA’s Growth Fund

Program Content

Business Structure & Business Model Evaluation: Optimize your business structure and model in preparation for raising capital, strategic growth, and success.

Path to Profitability: Create a plan to reach or increase current
profitability.

Growth Visioning: Strengthen your growth vision and identify the resources needed to achieve it.

Capital Readiness: Explore and learn about the types of capital needed to support your growth vision.
