ICA is part of a wonderful ecosystem of partners in the Bay Area that work to support local entrepreneurs. Check them out below!
Membership and Association
Naturally Bay Area is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation that was formed earlier this year to connect entrepreneurs, investors and corporate innovators in the food and natural products community in Northern California. They offer education, connections, discounts on events and networking in the natural food space.
With only 1% remaining in the Black Community for every dollar spent, it’s imperative that small businesses use technology for bottom-line growth. The Bay Area Black Market team helps entrepreneurs develop sustainable, bankable technology-driven brands. They believe in using technology for growth and sustainability.
Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce (OAACC)
OAACC was established in 2003. They are a private non-profit organization whose mission is to advance economic opportunity and strengthen Oakland’s Black business community. They provide a number of services for business associates and members including access to workshops, business development opportunities and advocacy. Members may also take advantage of business advising, notary and certificate of origin services.
Annually, CAMEO members serve about 21,000 very small businesses with training, business and credit assistance and loans. These firms – largely start-ups with less than five employees – support or create 37,000 new jobs in California.
