Friends and supporters:
For the founders and employees in ICA’s small business community, this year has been one of constant adaptation to changing regulations, supply chain challenges, and evolving consumer needs. As an ICA supporter, you know small businesses create jobs and wealth-building opportunities. You also know the obstacles that entrepreneurs of color and women face—and not just during this pandemic.
That’s where ICA comes in — and why we need your support more than ever. Our unique combination of hands-on coaching and responsive, catalytic investment helps founders grow their businesses, create good jobs, and build wealth. We meet entrepreneurs where they’re at. And together we’re working to close the gender and racial wealth gap.
“As an entrepreneur I’m always in the reactive mode. ICA’s Accelerator allowed me to take a step back and make a long-term plan—and connect me with the network, skills, and capital to make it happen.” — Carley Sheehy, founder of Global Grub
2021 marks our 25th year of impact. Since 1996, ICA has served 1,000 companies, who have created 7,000 jobs and paid $1B in wages. But we know there is more to do.
“The mentorship and weekly Zoom meetings were amazing. I was also able to see that I was not alone. There was a lot of support and a real sense of camaraderie within my group.” — Tosca Hillman, founder of GlōGirl Cosmetics
By helping underestimated entrepreneurs build thriving businesses, together we can challenge systemic injustice and work for economic mobility in our communities.
We can’t do it without you.
Here’s to the next 25 years, together.
