It’s no secret that the Oakland small business community has been hard-hit by the coronavirus crisis.
Companies from across the Town are pivoting to meet the challenges of our new COVID-19 reality. But they are also in need of assistance with assessing, building, and implementing digital marketing and tech essential campaigns to help them get through the pandemic and plan for the future.
That’s where OaklandFWD comes in. OaklandFWD is Oakland Small Business Week, gone virtual. The four-day online event will feature business workshops, a small business pitch session, a virtual marketplace, and live entertainment and performances.
It’s all happening next week – June 23-26 – and will be there (virtually, of course).
Oakland Forward is designed to meet challenges of our time by focusing on innovative and inclusive ways of highlighting, empowering, and supporting our small business community – starting with our BIPOC-owned businesses.
