Catch Shani Jones, founder and owner of Accelerator company Peaches Patties talking about her amazing patties, her family recipes, and how she decided to follow a PhD with entrepreneurship, in Bon Appetit.
If you joined us at our most recent Accelerator Pitch Event you might have met Shani Jones, founder of Peaches Patties. Even if you didn’t get to talk with her in person, you saw her pitch and (hopefully) you tried some of her amazing, flaky, moist, warm Jamaican-style patties.
If you’ve tried a Peaches Patties patty, then you know how delicious they really are and if you have talked with Shani you know that they are made with love and with a commitment to her family’s recipes.
Now, foodie magazine Bon Appetit has published a feature interview with Shani.
The piece is a great look into what led Shani to found Peaches Patties (named in honor of her mother), how she has navigated a yearning for authentic connections to the food of the Carribean, and what’s next for her business. It’s worth a read!
