ABOUT
Jessica May (she/her/hers) is a philanthropy and community development professional who is thrilled to join ICA as their Development Associate. She most recently worked at the Waverley Street Foundation, where she worked on climate grantmaking with a community focus. Before Waverley, Jessica worked at the George Gund Foundation, a place-based funder in Cleveland, Ohio. She is passionate about taking her experiences in philanthropy and utilizing them to create new connections and funding streams for ICA. She received her Bachelor's in Economics from Occidental College and her Master's degrees in Community Practice Social Work and Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University.
First Job
I worked at The Reading Bug, a family-owned children's bookstore in my hometown of San Carlos, California.
